Credit Guide

CashMi Pty Ltd (‘We‘, ‘Us‘, ‘Our‘) is the holder of Australian Credit Licence Number 521633. CashMi owns and operates the CashMi website at www.cashmi.com.au (Website) at which customers can compare a range of financial products in a number of different categories including consumer lending products regulated by the National Credit Code.

This Credit Guide provides you with the important information that you need to know to make fully informed choices when using the Website in relation to these products. It summarises how our comparison service works, how we are paid, and what to do if you would like to make a complaint to us.

The purpose of this document

The Credit Guide is designed to help you understand the services that we are authorised to provide and to decide whether you wish to use the comparative information services we offer.

CashMi’s role as an intermediary

When you use our Website to view financial products, we will:

  • collect basic information from you about your product interests; and

  • present a range of different products that may suit your interests

In each case your eligibility for the products that we show to you are subject to you satisfying the relevant provider’s requirements, including in relation to a credit assessment.

It’s important that you understand that by providing you with comparison information we are not suggesting or assisting you to apply for, remain in, or increase your credit limit with a particular credit provider (‘credit assistance’) . If we refer you to a credit provider, or credit assistance provider, you will be dealing directly with them and not with us.

We do not provide advice and we will not recommend that a particular credit product is suitable for you or appropriate for your particular requirements and objectives.

Our products and services

We provide comparative information on a range of financial products that you may be interested in based on the information you have provided to us, and give general advice by providing that comparison information. However, the products we show you are with providers that have agreed to participate on our panel from time to time. Please note we do not have access to all providers in the market, or all products offered by them. As such you should consider whether the products featured on our site are appropriate for your needs and consider a range of information sources in making your own choice as to which financial product suits your needs. If you choose to find out more about a particular product, we can refer you to the providers you are interested in.

Product Information

Should you decide to apply for any of the products about which we provide factual information or general advice, we encourage you to read the Terms and Conditions for that product. If you have more questions about the products or their terms and conditions, or are unsure whether a particular product will suit you, we recommend that you obtain independent professional advice.

Fees, Charges, Commission and Disclosures

We will not charge you for using our website. We earn income from generating referrals to providers of financial products and services. A referral is generated when you visit a financial institution's website via a link from our website, or proceed to transact with that provider. The commission we receive for each referral varies between each product provider. Not all products and services offered by each supplier are compared

Complaints

There may occasionally be instances where you may be dissatisfied with our website or services. If you have a complaint about our website or service, we have established procedures to ensure that all complaints are carefully considered and dealt with.

In the first instance we ask that you please contact CashMi’s Dispute Resolution Manager at the following email address : info@cashmi.com.au
